SEPTA Service Alert: Inclement Weather Causing Service Delays

Due to the inclement weather today, SEPTA is encouraging riders to allow extra time for safe travel and check septa.org/alerts for the latest information.

SEPTA will provide service updates to our riders throughout the day as more information becomes available.

Regional Rail trains on all lines are subject to delays of up to 10 minutes in both directions due to weather-related signal issues until approximately 8 pm.

Travel Tips During Rain & High Winds

Dress for the Rain

Wear water-resistant clothing and shoes. Don’t forget a waterproof hat and umbrella.

Prepare Your Car

Check the wiper blade wear, tire tread & pressure and that your headlights are working.

Pack a Weather Emergency Car Kit

Include a flashlight, booster cables, emergency flares, tire repair tools and first aid kit.

Drive Cautiously

When traveling in rainy and windy conditions, give yourself extra time to travel to and from the station.

Walk Carefully

Watch your step making your way along sidewalks, parking lots, stairs, station walkways and platforms, and when you board and exit vehicles.
