New Regional Rail schedules will be in effect Sunday, June 15, 2025. SEPTA updates its Regional Rail schedules four times per year to improve reliability and adjust for capital projects and infrastructure improvements. The schedules listed below will be in effect until the next major Regional Rail schedule changes in September.
- The entirety of the Chestnut Hill East Line will be suspended from June 15 through September 2 due to the rehabilitation of five bridges along the line.
- To accommodate the lack of service on Chestnut Hill East, there will be additional service provided on the Chestnut Hill West Line.
- Weekdays: three additional inbound/outbound trains provide 30-minute service during peak AM and PM hours, and hourly service in off-peak hours.
- Weekends: nine inbound and 10 outbound trains provide hourly service.
- View the Chestnut Hill West Line PDF Schedule.
- In response to rider feedback, an additional inbound morning train (#811) has been added to the Fox Chase Line.
- Most of the remaining adjustments to train times are being put in place to improve on-time-performance for some of our most frequently late trains. Regional Rail on-time-performance overall has been improving after major schedule changes went into effect in March, and these adjustments should help us continue to improve.
See below for more information on changes per line. Please check individual schedules for details, as times may not change at all stations on adjusted trains. Each line name is linked to a preview of the PDF schedule with updated trip times. You can also plan future trips and view real-time train arrival information on septa.org/schedules, plan.septa.org or download the SEPTA App. Changes will display online approximately 1 week prior to the effective date.
